Last Sunday with Walter J Hawkes and his Trio 4-6:30pm was an intimate and marvelous finish to the season. Although the cold weather kept the crowd small, the band never sounded better. We will post the seasons pictures shortly. Thanks for all your support and attendance and special thanks to all the bands that played this year!
Looks like Good weather for our finale Today October 5th! The band Walter J Hawkes and his Trio will play through the hours of 4:00-6:30. Come join us if you like to be outside listening to good music and dancing. This Summer a Wood Stage has been constructed for dancing and for the band due to repairs on the Band Shell. July 13th 2003 posting: Regretfully I inform you all at this late notice that no event will take place today. No band was found for this date and due to the difficult accoustics to work with, I have chosen not to bring out the recorded music sound system, as it was not effective enough last month on it's own. A new notice will be posted shortly including info about the bands lined up for the remaining 3 dates. If you are still looking for something to do from 4-6 today, check out Bastille Day 60th between Park and Madison 4-6pm where you will find Walter J Hawkes and his band on the street! see Special Events-paolo

Please come by next Sunday when we expect another band so stay tuned for details. If you have any favorite photos from these dances and would like them included on this site, we would love to see them. Please email them in to Swing@SavoyCentral.org
