An outdoor swing music concert and dance open to public. The music is live and there is a dance lesson at the start. You can come just for the music or you can bust out your own dancing. All of our events are permitted through NYC Parks and Recreation. Events are subject to cancellation due to weather.

Evan Hamaguchi is a multi-talented musician known for performances on saxophone, clarinet, and vocals. Based in Brooklyn since 2020, he draws inspiration from the rich traditions of New Orleans jazz, swing, and 1930s dance music. From childhood jam sessions in Davis, California, to collaborations with diverse musical artists in New York, Evan’s lifelong study of music embraces both modern influences and classic sounds. Catch him playing in Central park, whether you’re a swing dancer or simply a lover of good music!
