An outdoor swing music concert and dance open to public. The music is live and there is a dance lesson at the start. You can come just for the music or you can bust out your own dancing. All of our events are permitted through NYC Parks and Recreation. Events are subject to cancellation due to weather.

Blending hot jazz, swing and blues, the Pineapple Caravan brings the sounds of the 20s, 30s and 40s to venues all over the city, welcoming dancers and enthusiasts alike with their fun vibrant sets and sophisticated yet playful style.
This SEASON 2026 we are thrilled to announce that we are a SiOCF GRANTEE. And due to this marvelous news, we will be hosting LIVE BANDS on SUN MAY 17, JUNE 21, JULY 26, AUG 16 and possibly more!
NOTE: NO EVENTS on SUNDAY JULY 5 & 19 due to World Cup programs in Central Park. Stay Tuned for all the details on our Events Page.

Central Park Swings is an afternoon of music. Featuring Live Music and DJ’s that cater to Social Dancing. We play Jump Blues, Swing, Latin, Hot Jazz and more, Our Sunday events are held at King Jagiello Plaza. This stunning plaza in the round overlooks Turtle Pond and Belvedere Castle.
