An outdoor swing music concert and dance open to public. The music is live and there is a dance lesson at the start. You can come just for the music or you can bust out your own dancing. All of our events are permitted through NYC Parks and Recreation. Events are subject to cancellation due to weather.

SUNDAY SEPT 6th will include LIVE MUSIC starting at 4PM compliments of the group SUMMER SWINGIN’.
“Summer Swingin’ is a one-of-a-kind jazz ensemble with the sensational trio sound of Ezra Beber (drums), Peter Sumner (bass/cello), and Adithya Vaidhyan (tenor saxophone). The group explores a diverse repertoire from Great American Songbook classics to modern jazz and soul music” they may also feature tap dancer Abby Hricik
DJ SHUFFLEPUCK will play in between band breaks and also finish the afternoon after band ends. Featuring vntage and newer recreative 1940s style Big Band Swing, 1950s Rhythm & Blues, Jump Blues, and more geared for the Swing Dancer in you!
Central Park Swings is an afternoon of music. Featuring Live Music and DJ’s that cater to Social Dancing. We play Jump Blues, Swing, Latin, Hot Jazz and more, Our Sunday events are held at King Jagiello Plaza. This stunning plaza in the round overlooks Turtle Pond and Belvedere Castle.
